E1 8.12 Excel and Openoffice Scalc

We have: E1 8.12, TR 8.96.3.1, DB ORACLE 10.2.0.3, OAS 10.1.2.0.2, AIX 5.3 ML 06.
In some pc's we have installed the product Microsoft Excel, but in other we have the Openoffice Scalc.
When we need to export one grid to spreadsheet (Excel or Scalc), With Excel works well, but in the pc's with Scalc, (in file types they are associate the extensions xls and csv to the Scalc), but the error appears "Failed to Start Excel"
Which is the problem?
What do I have to configure?

OpenOffice is not supported yet by JDE E8.12
However, have you tried copying the SCALC executable
(whatever its name is) to "excel.exe"?
It's worth the try... maybe it works, maybe not.

That won't work, but exporting to CSV will. It works fine on Firefox and Internet Explorer. A couple of more clicks than exporting straight to Excel, but the end result is about the same.
