Real-time events into MSMQ

Has anyone configured 8.97 real-time events to fire into MSMQ? The documentation is a bit sparse.

I have events plopping into jms queues on the transaction server, from here apparently all I have to do (according to the interop guide) is 'Start your COM Connector on your Enterprise Server' and messages should appear in the MSMQ queue. There's no detail on jdeinterop.ini settings for the server, whether a COM+ application needs to be created, or even how to 'start' the COM Connector (do they mean 'activate' or 'register'?)

Sorry, I do not have an answer for you but can you please tell me how you view / monitor Event data in a JMS Queue? Is there a utility?
