ERP8.0 to 8.12 upgrade - spec import question

Hi all,
We are on ERP 8.0 SP23R and are planning on moving to 8.12 (for HR modules only). Our consultants completed a basic install of the 8.12 environment on the Iseries. However, we have about 100 custom UBEs/workflows/custom programs that we need to brought over from ERP8.0 to 8.12.

What is the easiest way to do it, without going through the complicated upgrade process. I noticed that there is a tool called Boomerang, but was not sure if it converts data dictionary items too.

The Boomerand tools will bring over just about anything you can put in a project. I'm unsure about the Workflow rules though. I'll leave this question for Alex to answer ...

Yes, as Ken said, Boomerang will bring across DD no problem. (But it does not support Workflows. The complete list is in the included Guide).
