Upgrade

Hi;
I have a question about upgrade XE to JD EnterpriseOne Tools Release 8.96.3. I have 2 servers for Deplyment server and Enterprise Server. I finished the installation and it works.
Question,
We kept the old deployment server in order to migrate the customise objects into 812 TR 8.96. Can you give a guideline as to how i can do this.

Kay, our Boomerang software (see our URL below) is likely the easiest way...

I have used Boomerang extensively during an upgrade and would not hesitate to use it again. Works within OMW for documentation and is by far the easiest tool to use for migration of custom objects.

To directly move objects from XE to 8.12 - Boomerang is the perfect tool
(yes, I am an evangelis of the tool).

Another route - is to map the datasource of the XE Objects to the
8.12installation. You can ER Compre across from
8.12 to XE when you do that (any CNC worth their dollars should be able to
configure that for you). Note: You won't be able to see custom objects
from 8.12 until you create them in 8.12 (or use Boom to copy them).

There are MANY ways to copy/compare/merge objects from XE into your
8.12migration - feel free to post me (or the list) for more questions.
