Custom features for clients

Hi all

I have a batch file which I run at the end of each full package install to include the correct ini file, JDBC drivers etc for our 8.12 clients, but I would like to create a feature to do this. I added one similar to the WAS feature in the Web Development manual, but haven't had any sucess with it running. I can select and i see the feature (and its ticked) when i run a custom deployment but the batch file doesn't do anything. I've checjked all the paths and it all looks ok.

Has anyone had any luck creating custom features in 8.12?

We are on E812 8.96.2.0 SQL2005 WIN2003

How did you specify the path for the executable while creating the feature? Did you click the browse button that comes on the form? in that case, the path appended is wrong. copy the path till the executable feature and paste it there(path should be in the network drive format, eg \\depser\Exxx\... ). this should work.
