Ok, ok, so I accidentally sent my e-mail message to the jdelist :) (I was
wondering why none of my OW users were getting the e-mail). It was late and
my brain was fried from getting ready for the upgrade, at least that's what
I'll blame it on. Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragement and
good luck to all of you who are upgrading. I'm glad I could give you all a
good laugh.

How did you get on with your check print modification?
I assume you must have managed to redesign it as you wanted, if you're now
going live?

For the most part it went pretty good. Of course I ran into a few issues,
but was able to work through them on my own and with the help of response
line. Since we tested everything in PY before upgrading PD we knew what to
expect and what changes to make so everything would work. Now I get the fun
task of upgrading all of my clients. Woohoo!

C Ho,
With a client we had the same issue with no testing of the WTS
prior to go-live and also couldn't print checks. Our solution was to
put the people printing checks as Fat Clients until we could find a
solution. No solution was ever found until the client upgraded.

We couldn't print cheques on WTS and fat clients. As soon as I modified R04572 template, it got corrupted. I had to mod the R04572 version instead. Response line told us that it happened to another client as well. I still don't know why it happened because modifying R04572 template was fine on the test system.
