8.12 calendar rolling to new day before midnight.

Hi All,

We have an issue with the calendar visual assist that has the calendar date rolling or advancing to a new day before midnight. It doesn't seem to be application specific so I figure there's a Time Zone offset from GMT that needs tweaking but I can't seem to get the right keywords in the KG to find the right document on where that hides. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

First of all, please tell us on what platform (OS and DB)
you're running E8.12
If it's Windows, you should double click on the clock
(lower right) on both the Enterprise and WAS Server
and check that both are on the same timezone and
same DST settings. Of course, they should also display
the same time!
If it's UNIX, you can identify the server timezone by
executing the "date" command.
If it's AS/400, DSPSYSVAL SYSVAL(QTIMZON) will show you
on what timezone is your server running.

Thanks for the response;

Here is the signature that should have accompanied the Post. I cut/pasted it from the email I got that was redirected from the List. If you didn't g et it let me know so I can check with the ADMIN to see what the problem mig ht be. If this isn't giving you the info you are looking for perhaps you c an suggest a format that will. I may be making too many assumptions with i t. i5 =3D AS/400, DB2 assumed sorry, version is stated.

This hasn't changed before or after our conversion from JDE 8.0 to JDE 8.12 . The OS and Time Zone setting has not moved but the way JDE is interpreti ng the time zone seems to have. Is there a setting within JDE 8.12 that ha s to coordinate with what is set on the Enterprise Server? Enterprise Serv er being i5 OS V5R3M5 using IBM DB2.

Just re-verified that all three of our JAS Servers are using the same time zone offset of -0700 GMT

Hi,
We had a similar problem on 8.12.
Make sure each user profile has the correct time zone explicitly set in the user profile.
ie Universal Time field in P0092.

Thanks for the post, that nailed it. A fun new field we didn't have to worry about in 8.0. Thanks for the help.
