Can\'t open a PDF in the IFS

I can't open any PDF that is in the IFS. The Adobe reader think's that it's damaged. However I can open them through the menu option View, User Options... and the Adobe reader is fine with them. It' not an authority issue. Is there a setting in E1 that will allow files created in the IFS to be accessed directly?

How are you getting there? As a share through iSeries Access? You may have to set it in iSeries Access to convert from EBCDIC.

If you are going straight to the IFS and trying to read them, I belive in some releases this will not work. There is actualy a conversion that happens when you got to the menu exit Row\View PDF. I could be wrong though, but I do recall having this issue, maybe the EBCDIC(sp) to ANSI conversion crap.
