IE screen stays open after viewing PDF

We just recently upgraded to TR 8.96.1.3. We are now seeing that when a user views a PDF through submitted jobs, a secondary screen opens and the user is prompted to either open or save the PDF or cancel the operation. Regardless of which option the user chooses, that secondary IE screen stays open. This seems to happen with Acrobat Reader 7 and 8, but not on 5. Those were the only versions I had for testing. In Acrobat Reader, I made sure that the View PDF in Browser option was on, thinking that might be a cause, but it wasn’t. All users are running IE6. Has anyone else run into this? Thanks.
 
I have had this issue and the only way I found round it was to uninstall adobe then reinstall.
