Hi All,

Do we have to genarate the HTML Specs in E812 manually? Or it does it automatically when we deploy a package to the client machines??
Please help me..

Regards,
Viswanth

Supposedly, once you deploy the newly built package, the XML specs for the HTML client are generated automatically by the 8.96 Tools Release. I think the only thing to do is make sure that the flag is on to enable this feature (can't remember the syntax).

The flag is on by default. Check your jas logs and you should see messages regarding package generation.

Just took a look at an 8.96.x JAS server. The flag I was thinking of is specGenerateOnDemand, and it was set to false by default. However, it was installed for E811 SP1, so I'll have to check our test E812 servers to be sure if it is true or not over there.

It is located near the bottom of the JDBJ.INI file.

This is commented out in our E812 by default so if you want to turn it off uncomment!
