URL for Console for IBM HTTP Server 2.0 - Where is it?

I am working with an old-ish WebSphere 5.0.2 install. For some reason I cannot access the IBM HTTP 2.0 (aka Apache) console. Does IBM HTTP 2.0 have a console? Or, did it go away after HTTP 1.3? If someone has the URL, I would appreciate it.

I do not recall whether it had a console or not but the GUI interface allows you to edit httpd.conf, which is perhaps what you really wish to do.

You should be able to do whatever you need my manually editing httpd.conf and you'll find lots of useful information here: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/

Brothers of Karamazov: Talk about a non-answer answer...

Why post a response if you don't have an answer? Kind of makes you look like a troll.

You mention a GUI but I do not believe that is an IBM HTTP Server 2.0 component. I know how to edit httpd.conf and I am very familiar with Apache. I've set this up several times with OAS and WAS (as well as JRUN, WebLogic, JBoss and Tomcat).

That is not what I asked in my post. I want to see the IBM HTTP 2.0 maintenance pages like the HTTP Server 1.3 pages in the JAS install book for WebSphere.

What I asked in my post is what is the URI/URL for the IBM HTTP Server 2.0. It appears to me that there isn't a console.

Maybe I need to post in Russian...

I'd bet that, in the time it took you to post this response, you could have searched Google for the answer. I did, and of course the Bro is right, you can use the command line for config file changes with Apache >=2.

If there were a tribal council on JDEList, I'd consider forming an alliance in an attempt to have you voted off the island.

If you don't know the answer to the question, why post anything? GIGO.

Again, I know how to set up Apache (command-line, text editor, etc.). I need to take snagit screen shots of the IBM HTTP 2.0 console for documentation.

I'd bet that in the time it would have taken you to read the original post, you might have saved both of us from wasting the last 5 minutes of my life reading yours.

So, again, if anyone knows if there is an IBM HTTP 2.0 console (LIKE IN THE JDE JAS INSTALL GUIDE), please feel free to post. No more posers, please...

Apache 2.0 and up (IHS - IBM HTTP Server) have no HTTP console for configuration purposes. There is only a nice default page that gives you nothing.

Thanks, Colin. That answers my question.

Simple and short answer was sufficient.

Hi,

In the case of Windows servers, you have to manually edit
the httpd.conf, it's on c:\program files\ibm http\conf.
