8.12 Upgrade ?

We are currently live on 8.11 base 8.96E1 tools release. Oracle 9i Sun Solaris.
We are planning on the possibility to upgrade to 8.12 early next year but rumor has it that there are many bugs in the 8.12 release and that some clients are even rolling back to 8.11 after trying 8.12.
Any help or suggestions on this topic would be appreciated from those that have experienced the rocky road to success.

Last month, I upgraded an account running on AIX/UDB from
8.9 Citrix to 8.12 on the Web, there was no problem at all.
8.12 is far more stable than 8.9 and we haven't found
any major issues except for some Scheduler hangups
which were fixed by Tools 8.96.1.5
