Numbers appearing differently when strike thru line added

I have an issue (8.12) where an OP has been generated and the user wishes to view the original OR number which in this case (see attachment for detail) is 00023798 but displays as 00023790 as it has strike thru line (been receipted or removed). I can replicate the problem on a different cosole logging in via citrix (as this user does not and uses a URL link) and wonder if this is purely related to fonts/unicode? Can someone advise please.

As a footnote, the data in the databse is correct, it is only a display problem, nonetheless a confusing one.
