System User Change Erases Password Policies

You might want to take a look at your R98OWSECA report if you are on 8.11SP1 and 8.12 (or other releases) and you have changed the System User for any/all users.

I just got bit after changing the System User for all users only to find that it reset the password rules back to defaults. Here is a related SAR:

...when the system user is changed, these values get changed:

Frequency, Allow Attempts, Retry Counter, Daily Password Change Limit, Force immediate, and Password Change Count.

This actually happened for me as well in 8.0 on SP23. Just an FYI

They have admitted that it is a bug and have SAR'red it.
