Printqueue.mbr Within Printqueue.file

On the AS/400, there is a member within the printqueue.file called printqueue.mbr. It about 4.5GB in size. I was wondering if anybody knew what this is. I thought it contained all of the PDF's from Work With Servers (F986110), but there are individual members within the printqueue.file. We are running OneWorld Xe SP23. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've never seen an actual printqueue.mbr in the printqueue file in my previous XE SP23 installation. The only members in the printqueue file should be members that start with a D (csv files) or an F (pdf files) followed by the job number. Someone may have been digging around in there and accidently saved something to the printqueue file they shouldn't have. You should probably delete it in my opinion.

Agreed. However you could extract it with CPYTOSTMF and take a look with Acrobat.

But cncjunior is correct that (in Xe/iSeries) the only thins in PrintQueue should be called Fnnnnnn or Dnnnnnn where nnnnnn is the JDE job number.
