Issue with P98OWSEC

Presently working on 8.12 with AS400,WIn -OAS 10.2.0.2

after the upgrade to DV812 P98OWSEC doesnt work..

It works well on FAT but not on web..

checking on the F989999, i can see that the DDitem SECV3 isnt getting generated..

however the same application does work in PS812 which was just a vanilla install..

the same DD is present in the F989999 of PS . I understand that the DD used by PS and DV are different ..

it does give the following error on the logs

SECV3 has following error:
error: com.jdedwards.runtime.generator.JavaGenException: No Metadata for spec type BSFN was found using the key : ValidateOWPassword

any idea how I can get it working on (J)DV812 too..

THe reason was the edit rule for the DD item SECV3. Once it was corrected , the error disappeared.
