Hi list,

Can somebody tell me the purpose of these folders found under x:\JDEdwards\E812\DDP\xx812\SPEC\runtimeCache and x:\JDEdwards\E812\DDP\xx812\SPEC\UBEOverride, these are located on our enterprise server. Do these require periodic clearing? Were not anymore using the manual serial objects generalization, we just have it JITI on the jasserver.

Anybody can shed some light on this...

thanx.

As far as can tell (read - guess) they are there to "hold" runtime specs for UBE's i.e. data selection etc.. ...you should not remove these folders although I have had to remove some sub folders due to some kind of a runtime issues a customer of mine had.

Hi All,

Just to provide some insight on our problems on run time cache issues...since upgrading from 8.96G1 to 8.96.1.5 we are now seeing that after update package build/deployed on batch versions these are automatically deleted in the run time cache folder and are populated when these versions are submitted to the server.

ciao.
