Is it possible schedule an UBE on a FAT client locally every 1/2 hour?

Thanks in advance

Client: Windows XP SP2
App server: HP UX
DB Server: Oracle 9i, HP UX

Yes, You need to use a tool Developed by Alex ( Everest consulting). This will allow you to run a UBE from command prompt for a fat client. THenyou can use normal windows scheduler to run this job.

UBEPrint.exe will work under XE/8.0

do a search to look up the command syntax but we used it for several years successfully until tools release 8.95+ killed it.

Thanks for all your responses.

I tested “UBECommander.exe” download from “http://www.everestsoftint.com/”.
It worked perfectly.

I'll study "UBEprint.exe" and "launchUBE.exe" as well.

The reason to do this:
we have a scheduled UBE running every 30 minutes during the day. It takes 25 to 29 minutes to complete. This gives me hard time to deploy an update package during the day.
