Quotation Conversion with specific line number (P420111)

Hi experts out there,

Is there a way I can copy the quotation's specific line number to sales order generated thru the SO generation feature on P42011? Understand that the Line # Increment in processing option is only meant for system increment and not such purposes. Thanks!
 
We looked into this and per JDe/Peoplesoft/Oracle no - you can't keep the same line numbers. Thats as of version 8.9.
