QSOFT FUnctionality

I am working with a client who is using QSOFT over their JDE standard security. They are telling me that it does not contain segregation of duties functionality but a conflict checker. Is this right? I have read other posts on here that suggest it does. We want to be able to run a SOD check every month over duties that conflict as per our defined matrix or standard SOD conflicts in the meantime- e.g an AP clerk should not be able to authorise paymetn and enter PO... Can anyone help me? Does the QSOFT tool do this?

Hi,

We have SEC-QURE E1Config v2.0 on our system. This does contain Segregation of Duties functionality. There is some information delivered by default but it's possible to add your own rules as well.

Conflicts are a different subject. As an example, if you've allowed a user to have full access to say the address book and then within another component assigned them read only access, this is picked up as a 'Conflict'.

There are seperate 'Segregation of Duties' / 'Conflicts' reporting features.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Sanjeev
