I am trying run the planner update on both the PS812 and PY812. Using the Change Assistant I get the Merge Specs and it fails with 'Invalid Data Sources' for the CO, VL and DD.

The jde.log has these entries

...
1820/3428 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Thu May 24 09:43:57.778000 Jdbodbc.c6096
ODB0000163 - wSQLFetch failure. rc=-1

1820/3428 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Thu May 24 09:43:57.778001 Jdbodbc.c6096
ODB0000164 - STMT:00 [24000][0] [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver]Invalid cursor state

1820/3428 WRK:Starting jdeCallObject Thu May 24 09:43:57.778002 Jdb_drvm.c1577
JDB9900189 - Failed to verify that table exists in Versions - PS812
...

With all the other UBEs completing successfully I am not sure what to look for.

I have followed the install guide to the letter and everything has worked to this point.

Thanks in advance...

I would merge the specs through the planner environment on your deployment server. I don't think planners apply correctly using support assistant....or at least it doesn't seem to be completely bug free. When I have had this type of issue, I have just loged into JDE and executed the process to apply the planner specs manually. Seems to work better this way.

So my newbieness is showing here, I didn't run the Instcat.sql script on the DB server after applying the service pack to the DB server. That corrected the issues with the ODBC cursor error.

Thanks for the posts!
