ESU Maintenance Best Practice for Deployement Server

Well this is probably another one of the questions that has been asked before but I just can't seem to get the right hit on the search.

I have been thinking about the manual steps that I am going to be taking to clean up some of the ESU's and Planners that we have taken over the past several years.

I was currious if any of you have thought out a "Best Practice" for clean up of ESU's on the Deployement Server.

Maybe there are some other things on the Deployment Server that we should be cleaning up besides just the ESU's and old packages?

Do any of you ever defrag the Deployment Server?

These are just a few questions but I think many of us just let the Deployment Server go on and on and on....and then hope to get a new one when we do a major release and skip out on the maintenance.

Thanks for any input!
