Is there any way to deal with Check Printing in 8.12 without implementing a forms package (Optio, Checkprint, etc.). Our current solution in 8.9, is that the MIKR is loaded on the PCs, and the users have a diskette with the signature and a bat file, they insert the diskette and run the bat file, this copies the signature locally to the PC, and also changes the jde.ini to modify the margins for printing checks (jdemargin=1). When the users are done printing the checks, they run another bat file from the diskette that restores the original jde.ini and removes the signature.
I know we will probably need to use a forms package now, but I just wanted to check if there was another way around this issue.
