Crystal vs XML Publisher!

Can any body suggest one of these tool over the other for custom report creation with JD Edwards 8.12 with some reason for the suggestion. The new version of JD Edwards is being shipped with free licenses for Crystal Reports and XML publisher. XML publisher is a product of Oracle itself.
