Did I miss the discussion here???

SP23_Q1 with a planner update needed.
MTR Doc Update 03/09/07...
32 Bit only/64 Bit not support (this makes no sense for those of us running dedicated DB servers... )

Anyone been brave enough yet?
Just wondering..
Brad

Side Note: I was going to download the planner ESU and look at it, can't find it at the udpate center yet.
XE JD24697
ERP8 JE10262
They both come up blank on ESU search

We had maked a query to Oracle about ESU and received from OraSupport:
The ESU name is correct on that MTRs page but it was not released yet. I have found out that ESU JD24697 is in a pre-release state, which means it can be released any moment from now. Most likely, it will happen next Tuesday. And, I'm afraid you will have to wait for this ESU... XE will work with Sql Server 2005 only after applying SP23_Q1 and Planner ESU JD24697. Even if we close the case until the new planner is released, as soon as it happens I will let you know.

The ESU JD24697 was superceded by JD24819. Had any one installed SP23_Q1 and JD24819 running on SQL Server 2000? Any issue? I will install them and run on SQL Server 2000 for couple of times before upgrading to SQL Server 2005.

I'm shooting for Dec/2007 or Jan/2008 install date for SQL 2k5 on our ERP8 setup. I'm suprised to not see more on this subject from others....

I have 2 clients live on SQL Server 2005 SP2 and Xe/ERP 8.0.

NO major issues

I assume these were upgrades from SQL 2k? Any documentation on the upgrade from Oracle?
