Install Client Workstation

Hello to all,

I'm trying to install the JDE Enterprise One 8.12 Client Workstation on a Windows XP Professional machine.

I installed the PY812 package on that machine.

My problem is that i cannot connect to the Oracle Database (10 G Release 2) on my Enterprise Server. When i try to login with my JDE user using the Solution Explorer, JDE says that it cannot connect to the ORCL database.

Although, if i try to use SQL*PLUS i can connect to the database server.

How can i troubleshoot this?

Hi Nuno,

Check that you have SecurityServer=(your Enterprise Server)
on the workstation JDE.INI, and that your user has been
created on P98OWSEC with a corresponding System profile.
