SQL Server 2005 Compatibility level

We are in the process of upgrading to EnterpriseOne 8.12 with TR8.96_H1.
We have completely parallel hardware from our production ERP8 system. The initial CNC componenet has been completed.

At a later stage (prior to user acceptance testing) we will be doing another business data refresh from the production system - effectively the same process as that on the golive weekend. The database will be restored and the conversion process run over the top again.

The SQL 2005 databases are still at a compatibility level of 80 (i.e. SQL 2000 level). Does anyone know what the implications are for JDE if this is changed to 90 (i.e. SQL 2005 level) ? Does it have any implications for the business data refreshes that we still need to do before going live ?

Thankyou in anticipation

Hi,

Don't worry about the SQL Compatibility Level.
JDE uses the database as a mere table repository, it
doesn't exploit any stored procedures, user defined
functions, database triggers, etc.
However, you should check that you're on the right
JDE Tools to support SQL 2005 (8.96F1 if my memory
doesn't fail), that you're using the right JDBC
driver (look at JDE MTRs) and the proper declaration
for that driver on JAS.INI (JDBC SQL 2000 and JDBC
SQL 2005 have different declarations on JAS.INI); and
that you're on the latest ESU Planner.
