restore user session?

My turn to ask a question. Does anyone know anything about preserving the users' session state on timeout/disconnect? I thought I heard a rumour a while back about JDE adding or planning to add the capability to restore the users session to its previous state when logging in after a disconnect, but have seen nor heard anything to indicate it is available as of Tools release 8.96.

Has anyone else?
