How to turn off Case Sensitive QBE

We are on OW Xe Update 7 with SP23_K1 on the AS400 as our Enterprise server. When you do the QBE search in some programs it is not case sensitive but some programs are. Item search in the PM Backlog is the biggest pain. How do you turn off Case Sensitive feature or if there is such an option?

Hi Devki,

Case sensitive QBEs are based on the type of DBMS used. AS400 and Oracle are case sensitive and MSSQL Server is not. I don't think it can be turned off.

It's the same if you do a query using TSQL.

You can try to convert to uppercase manually when comparing.
