Hi all,
I am new to the forum so please bear with me.
I have successfully installed the peoplesoft thi client for 8.11 with sql 2000 and webspere on an xp pro sp2 pc.
The issue is that when i tried to do the same install on a second xp pro sp2 pc I have the following issue...
I can log into the peoplesoft solution explorer. I can add printers, setup the OSA, etc... When I select to laun the EnterpriseOne Menu, and the webserver tries to start,i get an error.
First error "Cannot start webserver" and press ok
Second Error "cannot find web server"
Has anyone encountered this error before. I have gone through the webspherre logs and it is very confusing.
I rolled back the install, removing sql server, peoplesoft solution explorer, JDBC driver, and websphere. I also removed info from the registry and deleted all files on the harddrive.
I then tried to re-install with the same technical specs, same result.
Can anyone shed some light on what I am missing.
