Any Issue with SP23.N1 ?

Hi,

We are trying to install SP23.N1, Anybody have any -/+tive experience in installing SP23.N1.

We on using Win2003 as JDE server and Database Oracle 9.2.0.6

Any Help or recommendations are welcome...

There is a prerequisite ESU that sets up strong password encryption. Pay particular attention to your Multi Foundation setup and separate your security tables for passwords and User security transaction history tables.
Let me know if you need more details. Just went through it this month.

Worked fine for me, deployed it for one of our clients, their setup was ERP8, Windows 2000 Server and SQL 2000. Just make sure you grab the right ESU for your release. If you don't have multi-foundations its a strait install. The SP23 oneoff install documents has everything you need. Just make sure you deploy a proper client and server update package.

It very easy to test if it works, just create a new user and then change the users password. If either fails most likley its because the ESU was not installed and deployed correctly.

Also backup your security table just in case.
