EnterpriseOne and Windows Firewall

Hello,

We are looking at enabling Windows Firewall for the user population. I was wondering if anyone had done this, and if they had a list of the exceptions we should create before enabling Windows Firewall. Also, are there any other gotchas we should be on the lookout for?

I think you will/may have to add the JDE link to the trusted site list.

It's better since Tools release 8.95 eliminated the issues we had with the WinXP Pop-up blocker.

You will also need to plan for the distribution of ActiveX controls for media objects and grid export if users do not have administrator rights to install them at runtime.
