Object Check out

When i check out objects from the client PC,
the PC goes for a hang.
It's Windows XP.
Quite frequently i face this problem with a particular PC.
When i reinstall JDE, then it is working fine and again
after some days the problem occurs.
Any solution ??

Windows Xp is making a backup of your JDE files. Turn off System Restore in My Computer Properties.

Also, some Antivirus scanners will scan files during movement. I usually remove the E811 folder from the Live scan. The folder will be different, depending on what Version of JDE you are on.
