XE / OMW adventures

We have XE down (in PY) next to B733.2 and are testing / retro fitting to
get it over to production. It seems that one can put an object into their
project... then take the option to delete it (from server and all). Used
to be there was a very secret password to delete objects from Object
Librarian.

Question is how do we keep developers from deleting objects from the server?
I would just as soon have my CNC bunch have that authority.

Hi Jack,

You can control Object deletion in the OMC (Object Management Configuration) Activity Rules.

Larry is right as usual. Just a bit addition:
Could be very useful to check the appropriate section in the System Configuration documentation and the appropriate sub-folder of the Knowledge Browser on the KG.

You can fine-tunning deletion rights as well as many other rights in OMC.
You will have to acqire this knowledge soon.

Best regards,
Zoltán
