Access Paths

I am thinking about changing the access path for the F0902 from arrival sequence with reuse deleted set to *YES, to reuse deleted set to *NO.

Has anyone changed this setting and had good/bad luck with it? Anyone know of a reason I shouldn't do this?

OneWorld source code for Physical files seems to have an assortment of arrival sequence with reuse deleted=*Yes, arrival sequence with reuse deleted=*NO, and Keyed access paths. Is anyone familiar with the logic behind which access path was used when?

Off the top o' me noggin, I can't think of any issues you'd have going from *YES to *NO, other than increased file growth. After the change, of course, reorgs are the method that will get rid of the deleted records.

As far as the reasoning behind all the different methods, it really is a throwback to World and how it was set up, and then obviously as OW/E1 evolved and DB2/400 evolved, you see different formats being used.
