Tools Release 896 Upgrade Issues

Hi List,
I have upgraded from E1 811 Sp1 8.95 (Win 2003 / Oracle 9205) to 8.96.A1 on the same servers. But when I start the PSFT services it shows errors in connecting to SQL Server??? I dont know which server its searching for!! The PORTTEST fails with the security server turned ON (its working when the security server is OFF).
Also, the WebDevelopment Feature dosent seems to be working here .. Websphere Express 6 has got different components to be installed ..i have jst installed Express v6 .. anything else I should install??

Has anyone faced such issues with 896??? Please Help!!
