NEWBIE NEEDS HELP

This might be a stupid question for all you gurus out there but I am very new to all this and was turned on to the ERP software by a friend of mine. I downloaded 8.10 from the oracle edelivery web site and have succesfully installed the devlopment server but my question is does sql server 2000 need to be installed on the development server ?? because I noticed the the sql desktop engine is automatically installed along with a few databases or does sql server need to be installed as well as the database scripts as the loadall.bat in order to then install the enterprise server.

Well, u juz need to install the SQL server in the enterprise server. U have to run these files on the enterprise server after copying them from the deployment server.

I assume tat u have gone through the .pdf file given by the oracle.
