OW Client Installation

We have had a full package (PD7333FU) for a long time. All of a sudden, yesterday, when a tech went to load this package onto a PC, this particular package does not show up in the Package Selection window. All of the other 'Approved' packages are showing. this package does not show even when we use ALT+S to see all packages.

The package is 'Approved' in OW.
The PD7333/Package/PD7333FU directory does exist with all of its' objects.
the Package_inf\PD7333FU.inf file does exist and looks correct.
Does anyone know how that package selection screen finds which packages to show?

One thing I'd try, especially if you have lots of files in the package_inf directory, is move (don't delete) all the files out except for the one you are trying to install, and see if it shows. A little trick that has worked for me in the past.

Check that you don't have filters ON.

When you are at the screen where you can select a package, look at the top right, make sure is says filters OFF.

the "DeploymentStatus=" setting has "Approved" for its value in the .inf file?

The package has now decided to show up again, so I guess we're good for now.
