Beth,

Thanx for that. We had our JDE password changed and someone suggested we
change it back. They said JDE was supposed to fix that problem, but that we
should take precaution.

Hi,

We have a fairly complex environment (multiple Unix machines, database servers
separate from enterprise server). Also we are running Sun Solaris. The
biggest
issues were a problem with the project database which had records that couldn't
be read. I don't know if there is a way to validate that in advance In
addition, we had some rights issues since the upgrade assumes that JDE
passwords
haven't been changed and that the JDEuser doing the upgrade has access to
production. For security, we had changed passwords. The JDEuser needs to have
'READ' access to production.

Each of those issues cost us a day or so. In addition, there were some set-up
things (sorry I don't have the details) that prevented some of the ESU's from
running.

Good luck,
Beth

Beth,

What was it that caused the overrun? We are planning on doing the upgrade in a
week (no mods to apply and no testing of apps). Do you have some suggestions
that might help us keep on schedule?

Thanx
Doug
