Detailed Security Reference Material

I am a newbie to this posting. Is there a sound technical reference guide with respect to security that I can obtain for my use. I am especially trying to decipher the Solution Explorer Security Table parameters.

I don't blame you for being confused on Solution Explorer security, Ed, particularly if you are on 8.11. The meaning and usage of some of the data elements changed with this release, and the screens haven't been updated to clearly reflect this.
