can't delete old job

can\'t delete old job

I've run into an interesting little problem and was wondering if anyone has seen this before.

There is a job on one of my application servers that I cannot delete. The job record says that it completed successfully from within Work With Servers but when I try to delete the record I get a "Remote Job" dialog box saying "Unable to spool print request on jdeprdapp1". (See attached)

Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I would suggest stopping services and deleting the job record manually from your application server's job master (F986110). After you delete this record, bring services back on-line.

Thanks for the good advice. Deleting the record is not the real issue however, my main concern is why do I get an error message when trying to delete that particular record and not others. Also, what I didn't mention before is that when I (or anyone else) try to delete it the whole session hangs and has to be killed.
