Another thing to be careful about in the dual core world is licensing. I
believe from some reading a few months ago that Oracle were going to charge
you for 2 processors if you are licensed on a per processor basis and if you
are using dual core cpu's for your DB. (but MS were going to treat it as
one)
Hopefully they have sorted this out in the meantime, but maybe the same might
apply to websphere/OAS??
