Hi List,

I have a suddenly a problem on ES, getting restarted automatically.

Server Configuration is Xeon Processor 700 MHZ. Ram 4 GB.
Database Oracle.

we call up a compaq Engg today and they told that one of fan have a problem, althogh today they have not replaced the fan.

Does anyone have faced same kind of problem and solved with the help of the network team.

Its really urgent. I am at production site.

I had experianced the same issue where the ES was rebooting it self , in our case the issue was the the E1 services. Once I uninstalled and re-installed E1 services everything was fine.

Hello,

You should definitely fix your hardware errors. If this is NOT a hardware
error, has anyone turned on Windows automatic updates on the server? We
had our Deployment Server rebooting at 3am messing up our package builds
and it turned out someone in IT decided to turn on Windows automatic
updates.

Good luck!
Gerald.

I too had this issue once and it turned out to be the anti virus services. Once the antivirus application was uninstalled and the server rebooted manually, the issue went any. I believe the customer used a different antivirus application.

From my side the problem is solved now.

There was an hardware issue, One of the Fan of server not functioning propely and this cause heat up and restart system.

Repalaced fan and everyting wors fine.
