External Mail

Hi list,

I have a problemm with external mail.
In the JDE.LOG appears:

The JDEMAIL library is disabled, function <JDECreateEMailMsg> is not available. Please see SAR 6546021 for details, and contact support.

What Can I do?

I don't think JDE users MAPI anymore, at least this is what they told me sometime last year, but I was able to edit the INI file by adding my exchange servera nd using a custom MAPI function the mail works.

We have exactly the same problem.

Our businesspartner is busy for 2 days now with resolving the problem in cooperation with Oracle.

Do you have a solution yet???

I am getting this same problem.

It has worked fine for years and just started erroring a few days ago. Did you find a resoultion? Our email is working fine for work flow and server initiated emails, just not the client initiated emails. No new changes to our environmnet either.....

We are on XE-SP23, Oracle 9, AIX.
Any help is appreciated!

Will anyone of you please let me know if it is possible to send mails from an external source ( say lotus notes) to jde.......i m able to do the reverse thing..(jde to lotus)

Can tell me what is settings and design to be done in JDE to send some PDF reports to External Mail Like MS Outlook.
