Windows runube with error checking and e-mail

We are switching from UNIX/Oracle to INtel/SQL server. I've been tasked with reproducing the cronjobs for all the integrity that run via scripts using the runube command. We are going to use the Windows Task scheduler for this. Has anyone set up a .cmd file with error checking and sending e-mails upon failure? I'm a newbie in this arena and would greatly appreciate help. Thanks.

Hey Patty,

You should take a look at Tidal. It does a nice job doing runube, sending emails, running jobs with dependencies, etc. In an earlier thread today, Shawn Scalon mentioned some other solutions that I am not familiar with.
