OneWorld Xe Certification Exams

I can't find where to register for exams. The new Xe exams are supposed =
to be available on April 1, but their not being administered by the same =
folks as World and OneWorld.

I'm with a business partner, and can't find any links on Knowledge =
Garden to get any info on how exactly to register and what Xe exams are =
now available.

Partner exams are being reworked at the moment. The latest I heard was availability Mid to late April. I suggest you contact your partner manager and ask when exams will be available. Also, the new exams are broken into two. One dealing with JDE application knowledge and a second dealing with practical application knowledge. Stay tuned...

FW: OneWorld Xe Certification Exams

I talked to JDE about this a month ago and they said they were retooling
their certification exams.

They will only be available for Business Partners or JDE employees. All JDE
clients will be restricted from taking the exams.

This appears to be a major shift in certification policy. The Business
Partner / JDE monopoly continues...

I took exam for 1W developer B733.1 a few months ago. I can not explain what mess was that. It was full of errors. Examples: all five answers are the same, questions are referring on application grid and shown is grid from OL or opposite… I call to complain and they tell me they know for that and they take care of those errors when they calculate my score. Tomorrow they ask me to fax to them my score. If they calculate errors than they must know my score, why they ask for score? If they do not know my score then why they lie to me? That PhD (I forget his name, he is in charge for certifications and he put PhD in his signature) didn’t want to talk about another exam or even reimbursement. After that I call Sylvan. Nobody ever answer. I am not going to pay even a penny to those guys anymore. I will strongly recommend to everybody to avoid any kind of business with JDEdwards certifications department.

Good luck to anyone who is going to take JDE exam.

I have heard much the same ~ even from the JDE Instructors... Basically,
you run a 60% chance of having a correct answer marked wrong and a 40%
chance of having a wrong answer marked correct.

One Would argue that the person(s) verifying the answers to the
Certification Exams are the persons who used to work for Quality Control?
How many monkeys does it take to write a correct answer to a wrong
questions(answer: it depends on who feeds them)?

In all fairness, JDE's Cert folks should just come right out and apologize.
Based on the complaints and the errors that are confirmed ~ there really
isn't any alternative. Dollars should be returned and Certs revoked. I
would not recommend hiring one consultant over another ~ based on who's
staff is certified...

Would I gather Microsoft Certs and shell out the bucks? -> YES, if I had the
time.
Would I gather JDE Certs and shell out the bucks? -> NO. The Certifications
for JDE only mean that you took the time to attend a test and ... nothing
more.

Edwards needs to work further on quality control... again.

IMHO - that should have been referred first...

I certainly agreed with you on this issue. We were also being informed
that JDE does not provide any certification exams to their clients. How
do we ensure we are also certified users for JDE?
