UBE launching a subsytem UBE

We want to do something that may seem unusual (there is a weird business justification for it).

That is -- we want a regular-running UBE, ssetup to be launched automatically by the PO in a standard interactive application (application is not enabled for subsystem processing) to do a report interconnect, but instead of launching the next report, run it as a subsystem job. The only thing running as a subsystem job is the last UBE.

The process now is as follows, Pxxxx->Ryyyy->Rzzzz. In a "to be" process Pxxxx->R55yyyy->R55zzzz, we want the "regular" UBE R55yyyy to place the record for R55zzzz in F986113 and pass its parameters and data selection to the subsystem table BLOB, similarly to a normal report interconnect.

We are not entirely sure this is even possible or whether it has been done by others. Yet, the process is very similar to an application launching a subsystem UBE (which is done all the time), and the data structure of the second report needs to be used to pass information from the first. Yet, we still doubt the approach.

We wanted to ask some experts before we even start exploring the ideas. Have you done this kind of daisy chain of UBEs, or is it even possible?

Thanks a lot
