Securing Batch Versions from the tools Menu?

We are on 8.10 is there an INI setting to not allow users to access BV from the tools menu drop down?

you can use column security and secure from W98305A and alias PID.

but by doing that your users will have to have all UBE defined on their menu, they will not be able to go to BV and type in a version either, but they will still be able to prompt for versions that is on their menus.

I mean for them to access BV by: Activeconsole->Tools->Report Versions.

well you cannot disable the option but you can prevent them from executing unauthorized versions by using the column security. That is the only way I found to disable it and I have tried .
