List,

We recently installed 8.95_C1/8.11 SP1. We have only got PS and DV going at this point. I wanted to go in and run a couple of TC's. For some reason, PSFTPLAN is no longer an option when I login to the Dep Server. I went in to Environment Master and low and behold, PSFTPLAN is no longer there either.

Any guesses/clues?

Hi,

a. Is the local SQLSERVER instance still running on your
Deployment (PSFTPLAN data is stored on a local MSDE
SQL Server instance)?
b. Have you compared your c:\windows\jde.ini (on the
Deployment) with the old one (before Tools)?

I have determined that I will not see PSFTPLAN in the Env Master...sorry.

Yes, the local SQLSERVER instance is still running, I did check this first.

This is a new dep server and no new tools releases have been applied since the original 8.95_C1 was applied 5 weeks ago.

Also, when trying to login to PSFTPLAN, I get the follwing error in JDE.LOG

The specified Library List, "PSFTPLAN", was not found in F00941.

and

Could not validate role environment pair in SignOn_ProcessOK:validateEnv

This problem happened suddenly and I'm not aware of ANY changes being made. Could this be a security change that someone made (other than myself)?

I would actually look at the local MSDE database at the F00941 table and see if PSFTPLAN is in the table or not.

Yes, PSFTPLAN is still in the F00941 in the MSDE local database...drats!!

Double check that someone did not remove it from the user who is logging in's environment list in the P0092.

PSFT has SYSADMIN as a role, SYSADMIN has PSFTPLAN as one of its valid env's. There are no env's assigned directly to PSFT. When I try to add PSFTPLAN directly to PSFT, it says "Record Invalid" and nothing in JDE.LOG.

Make sure the Deployment Server jde.ini file has the following.

[DB SYSTEM SETTINGS]
Version=43
Default User=PSFT
Default Role=*ALL
Default Env=PSFTPLAN
Default PathCode=PLANNER
Base Datasource=Planner - 811
Object Owner=dbo

It was the DEFAULT Env that got changed by some son-of-a-gun!!! It was set to DEP811 and not PSFTPLAN.
