Installing planner esu and SP23_L1

I'm going to install SP23_L1 on my test server Monday. I haven't installed a planner ESU in a while and thought that it would be a good idea to install the latest one which is JD23634. Do I install the ESU first, then the service pack.

hey patty - I didn't see this last year. Anyway - yes, you should always apply a planner ESU and a full package build prior to applying the service pack - I usually leave a few weeks in between for safety sake (and planner ESU's and service packs also both require full package builds).
